Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.

Savannah is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Savannah is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Most of the employees here are very nice and personable. There’s a few things I’ve noticed about this location…the hot food bar is the most unappealing I’ve seen food look at any Whole Foods. Almost never full or warm and looks crusted and dry. It’s a shame because I would eat here more often. The mocha at the coffee bar also was one of the worst coffees I’ve ever had. It had an inch of syrup and chocolate at the bottom it didn’t even taste like a coffee it tasted like chocolate milk on crack. If these things could be improved, it would be a great location!

Hot bar & salad bar were rock solid today and excellent last Saturday when. Got to beat the lunch rush for best. My only complaint is half of a big cream container was $21

I’ve tried coming to Whole Foods twice for lunch because the hot bar is supposed to be fresh and ready. I’m trying to stay away from fast food, so I figured this would be a better option. Unfortunately, both times were disappointing. Today, most of the hot food bar was empty and what was there didn’t look fresh at all. When I asked an employee how long it would take to bring more food out, she said about two hours. My lunch break is only an hour, so obviously that wasn’t an option. If you’re going to offer a hot food bar, there should consistently be hot food available and being replenished. Otherwise, it defeats the purpose. After two attempts, I can’t recommend coming here for lunch. It’s been a waste of time and energy.

Disappointed with Today’s Experience at Whole Foods I genuinely love Whole Foods and willingly spend two hours on the road—one hour each way—just to shop for the products I truly enjoy. However, today, I was extremely disappointed by what I saw. First, the parking lot was cluttered with shopping carts, while inside the store, only a few were available. I had to grab a smaller cart from the parking lot, which I actually prefer, but it was frustrating to see such disorganization. The biggest disappointment, however, was in the fresh produce section. I was shocked to find mold on the mushrooms. Even if they are discounted, selling spoiled products is unacceptable. Additionally, I saw a rotten nectarine surrounded by fruit flies, which is simply disgraceful for a store with above-average—if not significantly higher—prices. On a positive note, I do appreciate that Whole Foods has special items for Valentine’s Day, including berries in heart-shaped packaging. They also have Blood Oranges and Caracara oranges, which have unique and interesting flavors. Additionally, my favorite yogurts are available in special red packaging for the holiday. I also want to highlight a new snack I trie

On the higher side of food and such. It's not a place to do regular grocery shopping unless you're willing to spend 100+ on like 5 things. It's great to get the occasional treats or specific things you can't find elsewhere. Love the salad bar and hot food bar. The salad bar is 12 per lbs, and the hot bar is 13$ per lbs. Olive bar is 12$ per lbs. I recommend getting the bar foods before 5-6pm as they get old at that point, and I believe the hot bar ends at 7 pm. I'm not sure if that means they stop replacing/making more food or they close it as I've come after 7 p.m., and they've had food still but only like 1 or 2 options, though.
